When a person has had an abdominal surgery, a complication which may occur is an incisional hernia. This occurs when part of an organ, usually the bowel or intestine, pushes through a weak spot in the original incision site. Symptoms can include tenderness, bulging, swelling and pain at the site. Severe cases can cause nausea, vomiting, and bowel obstruction.
*Disclaimer: All weight loss claims are due to surgery. Results will vary by person and are based upon the patient, the surgery type and the compliance with the aftercare program.
